Vestal's Surface Mount Jumper Wires are tape & reel packaged to simplify material handling and optimize the utilization of today's high-speed automated placement equipment. All SMTJs are tape & reel packaged for convenient handling and high speed assembly applications.           Miniature SMTJ Jumpers Vestal's SMTJ Series Jumpers are designed to provide a safe, cost effective means of joining circuit traces on densely populated circuits. Optional features on multi-function PCBs can be easily activated or changed by simply adding or deleting the SMTJ during the assembly process. In hi-reliability and/or harsh environments, SMTJs offer an excellent alternative to costly switches that can be sensitive to moisture and other contaminants. The SMTJs unique "under beam" lead form offers the smallest “foot print” of any jumper in the industry, and is fully compatible with today’s high speed placement and solder reflow processes. It is stable during all assembly processes and offers the added benefits of excellent solderability and cleaning characteristics. SMTJs are available in 1206, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2506, 2510 and 3510 sizes.
